Radio Al Balad is a Jordanian community radio station founded in 2007 by the AmmanNet network. It is the first independent community radio in the Arab world. Broadcasting from Amman on 92.4 FM, it offers programming focused on human rights, social issues, local culture, and civic participation. Radio Al Balad gives a voice to marginalized communities and underrepresented perspectives in mainstream media. The station is internationally recognized for its role in promoting freedom of expression in Jordan.
