About
Radio Algeria International is the Algerian radio channel dedicated to international broadcasting. Created in 1963, shortly after independence, it broadcasts in French, English, Spanish, and Arabic to reach the Algerian diaspora and international audiences. The station covers Algerian and international news, culture, and sports, and offers programs on Algeria's heritage and history. It plays a diplomatic role in projecting Algeria's image abroad. Radio Algeria International is part of the Public Enterprise of Sound Broadcasting (EPRS).
