NDR 2 is the pop music station of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), the public broadcaster of northern Germany. Based in Hamburg, it covers the northern states (Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg, Hamburg). NDR 2 offers an adult contemporary format with current and classic pop and rock hits. The station is known for its NDR 2 Soundcheck Festival that discovers new German musical talent. It broadcasts on 87.6 FM.
